1. What these technologies are
Cookies are small text files stored by your browser. Local storage, IndexedDB, software development kits, pixels, and similar technologies can also store or read information on a device. We refer to these technologies together as “cookies” in this notice where the distinction does not matter.
2. Technologies OpenSet uses
OpenSet session cookie (__session)
Keeps a signed-in account authenticated and protects access to account-specific pages.
Typical duration: Up to 5 days, or until sign-out or deletion by the browser.
OpenSet role cookie (__role)
Helps route signed-in users to the appropriate creator, studio, or administrative interface. It is not accepted by itself as proof of authentication.
Typical duration: Up to 5 days, or until sign-out or deletion by the browser.
Firebase authentication storage
Google Firebase may use browser storage to maintain authentication state, complete Google sign-in, prevent abuse, and support account recovery.
Typical duration: Varies by authentication method and generally lasts until sign-out, account removal, expiration, or browser-data deletion.
Theme preference
Browser local storage remembers whether you selected light, dark, or system appearance.
Typical duration: Until you change the preference or clear browser storage.
Cloudflare Turnstile
Processes browser, device, interaction, and network signals to distinguish legitimate studio applications from automated abuse. Cloudflare may use strictly necessary cookies or storage during a challenge.
Typical duration: Limited to the challenge and security period determined by Cloudflare.
Stripe checkout
When online payment is enabled and you enter checkout, Stripe may use cookies and device signals for payment processing, fraud prevention, and security.
Typical duration: Varies by Stripe cookie and security purpose.
3. Analytics and advertising
OpenSet does not currently use advertising cookies, cross-site behavioral advertising cookies, or session-replay tools. Operational hosting and security services may create server logs even when they do not set a browser cookie. If we introduce non-essential analytics or advertising technologies, we will update this notice and provide consent or opt-out controls where required before using them.
4. Your controls
- Use the OpenSet theme control to change the stored appearance preference.
- Sign out to clear OpenSet authentication cookies.
- Use browser settings to view, block, or delete cookies and site data.
- Use browser or device controls to allow or deny location access.
- Use payment-provider controls for cookies set during checkout.
Blocking essential cookies or storage may prevent sign-in, account routing, application security checks, booking requests, or payment features from working.
5. More information and changes
For more about the information associated with these technologies, see our Privacy Policy. We may update this notice when our technology or legal obligations change. The effective date at the top shows the latest revision.
